The Antique Classic Boat Society: Indiana Chapter is a locally run club dedicated to connecting antique and classic boat owners in Indiana. Their old site was clunky and outdated and hadn't been updated since 2011. The clients wanted a sleek but simple new site to make their chapter's website stand out amongst the other state chapters. They wanted a place where members could come and connect with eachother as well as a place for the members to upload their own images.
We created two mockups for the client to choose from. They selected Gabby's mockup and chose to implement the 6-event section from Max's mockup. Their site hadn't been updated since 2011, and their current web company wasn't working out. We wanted to give them a design that had a more modern feel, and wouldn't require a lot of updates to keep the design current. We hand coded this entire site, building a database and login area for their members from scratch.
The Indiana Chapter of the ACBS never had a logo so we had to create a brand new logo from scratch. We wanted to create a modern and simple logo that fits with their new brand. We created a few different logos for the client to choose from and made changes from the feedback we received. We also created other icons/logos for the navbar and the browser icon as well as many other graphic elements that can be seen throughout the site.
